Mata : United players were not happy after Everton match

Juan Mata has admitted that Manchester United’s players were feeling down and out after their disappointing 1-1 draw at Everton on Sunday afternoon.

It has been a frustrating start to life for Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, with his team yet to click into gear in the Premier League.
Indeed, the Red Devils have only won two of their last 10 Premier League games to leave them 13 points behind leaders Chelsea after 14 matches this season.
Manchester United were leading at Goodison Park before substitute Marouane Fellaini conceded a sloppy late penalty and Leighton Baines duly stepped up to convert from the spot.
The Red Devils now need to compose themselves as they prepare for their crunch clash with Tottenham next weekend.

And Mata admitted that he and his team-mates were feeling extremely downbeat after the disappointment of Sunday’s draw.
Writing in his personal blog, Mata said: “We could just say that it was a pity and how helpless we feel when important points slip away at the end of games that you think you deserved to have won.
“It’s been like that in the last few fixtures at Old Trafford and also on Sunday.
“That was how we felt in the dressing room after the game against Everton, and yet I prefer to look forward, think about the potential of this squad and how united we are in the desire to convert all these draws into wins.”
