Two key Chelsea players set to agree new deal

Good news for Chelsea

It’s been an amazing season for Chelsea so far.
2015-16 was largely a season to forget at Stamford Bridge, as the Blues nosedived under Jose Mourinho, before Guus Hiddink returned to the club to steady the ship and ensure relegation became a non-factor.
Fast-forward to the present, and the Blues, despite not making a huge amount of summer signings, look a team reborn.
Antonio Conte has installed a refreshing 3-4-3 formation, while Chelsea are currently in first place in the league.
As everything comes up smelling like roses, Thursday’s Telegraph gives an extra good news boost regarding Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois.

Pair are ‘keen’ to sign on

Courtois has kept six clean sheets on the bounce for the Chelsea in the league, while Diego Costa is the first player in the EPL to hit double figures this season.
Both players are poised to commit themselves to the cause, as reported in the broadsheet:
Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois are prepared to hand Chelsea a huge boost and sign new contracts with the club which further indicates the remarkable turnaround under head coach Antonio Conte.
In just four months, Conte has convinced Costa and Courtois that they do not need to return to Spain to be happy.
Both Blues stars are presently under contract until 2019. Contract talks on their extension deals are set to begin this winter.
The details of the respective extension deals is kept under wraps, but Blues fans will simply be happy these stars are planning to stay in west London for the foreseeable future.
