United target set to agree new deal - Report

West Ham United are reportedly set to offer French international Dimitri Payet a huge mouth-watering deal on his £125,000-a-week contract in order to fend off interest from Manchester United, per the Mirror.

The French No. 8 forward had just signed a new deal with the Hammers only nine months ago, that earned him a pay rise of £50,000-a-week on his previous £100,000-a-week

Reports now making the rounds claims there’ve been tentative talks about the club giving him another rise on his contract.

The club’s hierarchy have reportedly told he can expect a money boost, if he starts seeing the net and they hope he does when they welcome Arsenal at the London Stadium for their 14 Premier League game.

However, Payet hasn’t scored since October but has enjoyed a brilliant 2016 to date, with his superb performances for France during the European Championship earning him plenty of applause’s.

His form has seen become a huge priority for Jose Mourinho who’s keen on bolstering his attacking option next summer and the Hammers are ready to act in order to block the 53-year-old Portuguese exit path.
