Palace striker :I want to be like Hazard

Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke has waxed lyrical about Chelsea star Eden Hazard, saying he’d love to have his compatriot’s sharpness.

Benteke has played with a wide array of players from his Aston Villa and Liverpool days, to the national team with Belgium.

Considering he has played alongside the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku and Philippe Coutinho, it may have been a difficult for Benteke to choose his best ever teammate.

I will say Hazard as he’s my friend!” Benteke told Sky Sports. “When Hazard is on top of his form he’s one of the best players in the Premier League. But this year it’s not only him at Chelsea, it’s the whole squad. They look really strong.”

When asked what attribute he would like to add to his game, he took a page out of Hazard and Coutinho’s book of tricks.

“I’d like to be as sharp as Philippe Coutinho or Eden Hazard,” he added.
