Mourinho on Messi

Ahead of the Feyenoord game, Mourinho was also surprisingly asked whether Manchester United could sign Leo Messi.
The origin of this question was from suggestions in the Catalan media over the weekend that Manchester United would use Adidas as a way of signing Messi
Over recent weeks Messi’s contract negotiations with Barcelona have been the source of much conjecture.

“Messi belongs to Barcelona and Barcelona belongs to him”

Whilst Manchester City remains an option, Mourinho crushed any hopes of Manchester United signing Messi.
The Special One said: “Messi is every season the same story, every season he is going to leave and then he never leaves.”
Mourinho continued: “I hope he never leaves, Messi belongs to Barcelona and Barcelona belongs to him.”
Finally, the Manchester United boss said: “For Man United, I am absolutely sure he won’t come.”
