Governor declares fridays has public holiday
Benue state governor , Samuel Orton, has declared Fridays has public holiday in the state ,
effective from today, November 11 to the last friday of January 2017.
The state government said, it's workers should use Fridays for harvesting there crop produce.
The decision was made after the governor led the state executives meeting in the state.
A statement by the special adviser to the governor on media and ICT Tahav Agerzua
said the state executives already approved that Fridays become work free day.He also said,
the council however exempted some workers in the education sectoe.
