Federico set to move to Chelsea
According to the Express, Fiorentina wide-man Federico Bernardeschi is ready to push through a move to Chelsea, as the highly-rated youngster is keen to join the West London club when the January transfer window opens.
The 22-year-old Bernardeschi, who has come through the youth ranks at La Viola, is willing to move to Stamford Bridge in the New Year.
The highly-rated Italian has been a target for Chelsea boss Antonio Conte since he took charge at Stamford Bridge last summer.
And now, it is believed that he’s on his wanted list for January and Bernardeschi has told Fiorentina that he wants to move to the capital.
The former Juventus manager has been looking around his homeland for reinforcements for Chelsea with a forward, centre-back and the left-back on his transfer wishlist.
Conte has failed to sign several top targets last summer when they had bids rejected and knows that it will be difficult to get some of his them in January.
However, it is very difficult to convince clubs to sell their key player in the January transfer window, but Bernardeschi is determined that he won’t have to wait until next summer to move.
